Picasso Café is all about art. From the artwork on the walls to the way they prepare their food and beverages, art is everywhere. Not only do they care about the aesthetic of their food, they also buy their ingredients from local Oklahoma vendors as well, so everything you eat is fresh and grown in our state.

A Jeweler’s Art features hand-crafted in Oklahoma, one-of-a-kind jewelry. Not only do they make jewelry, they also feature hand-dyed and sewn clothing. A Jeweler’s Art offers over thirty different jewelry-making classes throughout the year, including how to make hammered rings, stackable rings, and Argentium silver earrings.
They’re every woman’s guilty pleasure – shoes. And Betsy King has a lot of them. Betsy King: A Shoe Boutique features many well-made high-end shoes for you to try on. Their store is full of cute couches and gathering spaces to shop and try on to your heart’s content.
It wouldn’t be a true visit to the Paseo Arts District without adding a unique artistic twist to your outing. Craig’s Curious Emporium carries unusual gifts from around the world, including statues, incense, crystals, clothing, and jewelry.
The Project Box’s focus isn’t just on beautiful art – it has an emphasis on community. This gallery showcases art from local artists every month, and hosts opening and closing receptions for each. The artists are given a chance to mingle with their viewers and answer questions. The Project Box also hosts workshops where attendees can learn how to create different types of art.
PaseoArtWorks is an art gallery full of eclectic work that also regularly showcases different pieces of art from many local artists. There are many different pieces to browse or buy if you want to add a touch of local art to your home.
The Paseo Art spaces doubles as the main office for the Paseo Arts Association as well as an art gallery for visitors to stroll through. The showings change month by month, always kicking off at the Paseo’s First Friday Art Walk. The Paseo Art Space also hosts many small events and customers can rent out the space for events and parties.
Not only does SixTwelve have many classes and family events to attend, but it also has a great cause. SixTwelve’s goal is to provide the tools to build community and make community activities more accessible everyone. SixTwelve hosts the Young School, a Pre-K program that focuses on science, technology, reading, readiness, engineering, art, music, and math. SixTwelve is also home to its own community garden with classes, community discussions, and more.
Shakespeare in the Park is a great way to introduce your family to theatre in an educational way. Headquartered in the Paseo, the organization hosts performances in the Paseo and in the Myriad Gardens. Currently on their 32nd season, OKC Shakespeare in the Park is committed to education in literature, theatre, and creativity. They host classes, camps, and residencies for artists and those wanting to learn more.
If you want to sharpen your artistic skills, the Paseo Arts District has a school dedicated completely to learning different kinds of art.
